Harmony Day

On Tuesday 23rd March, Sirius College celebrated Harmony Day.

Students came dressed in their traditional cultural clothes or wore orange for the day. It was lovely to see everyone so dressed up and colourful.

The classes enjoyed many activities based on Harmony Day, including dressing up paper people, colouring, poetry and other fun activities.

There was also a competition for Harmony Day, with different competition activities for the classes. There was Harmony Day colouring, poster making and poetry writing.

Congratulations to the winners from each class.

Jump Rope for Heart

Dear Parents,

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off NEXT term! Jump Rope for Heart is a fantastic physical activity and fundraising program that has been run by the Heart Foundation for over 36 years. It’s a great way for your child to keep fit and learn new skills, but it also helps raise funds for vital heart research and education programs.

It’s important you register your child online, so they can receive the full benefits of the program and participate in online fundraising. Simply follow the link below to get started.

We will all be skipping throughout the term in PE lessons, recess and lunch. Share their online fundraising page on social media and with family and friends to help raise money for this great cause. Towards the end of term, we will hold a School Jump Off Day which will give students the opportunity to demonstrate their amazing skills. Through Jump Rope for Heart, our school can earn money for PE equipment and your child earns fun prizes that encourage him/her to keep up the good work for heart health.

Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!
